SOLAR DYNAMO RADIO/FLASHLIGHT

Four different sources of power are available so that you are never without a radio or flashlight.  Great for outdoor activities or as a standby light at home.  You can charge the integral battery with the sun or indoor light or use the dynamo crank.  This unit runs on 2 AA batteries (sold separately) or a 4 volt power jack.  The radio features AM/FM bands with adjustable volume and LED lights to indicate reception.  An earphone jack is also included.  The flashlight comes with a clear lens for normal use, a red lens for night use, and a yellow lens for warning use.  A switch flips the flashlight from a steady beam to a flashing warning light.  Two replacement bulbs included.

UCO CANDLELIER LANTERN

This a larger version of the famous UCO Candle Lantern.  It is a three-candle lantern and is ideal for backcountry applications, as well as cabins, camps, and for use in the home during an emergency.  The heat-shield on top provides a stove-like surface that can be used to boil small amounts of water, melt snow, or keep foods warm.  A stainless steel handle makes the Candlelier easy to hang and carry.  A unique spring loaded candle tube keeps the flame height constant, with a small viewing window shows how much candle remains.  Each candle burns up to nine hours.  A sturdy three-legged base helps stabilize the lantern on uneven surfaces.  Measures 8" high x 4" wide.  Weighs (with 3 candles): 1 lb. 5 oz.

IOSAT™ - POTASSIUM IODIDE

Radiation Emergency Protection

IOSAT™ Potassium Iodide received its approval from the FDA in 1982, and is the only full-strength tablet for radiation blocking which may legally be sold in the US.  As a thyroid blocker for radiation, IOSAT has passed all FDA tests for purity, quality, safety and efficacy.  It is used to protect your thyroid gland against radioactive iodine released during a nuclear emergency.  It does this by flooding the thyroid with stable, safe iodine, which blocks the absorption of dangerous radioactive iodine.  IOSAT™ is packaged whereby each 130 mg. tablet is individually foil sealed (not all thrown in a bottle), with 14 tablets per package. Dosage is one tablet per day, per adult, for up to 14 days, as instructed by public health authorities.  If you live near a nuclear power plant or are concerned about a dirty bomb, you should keep these in stock.  When they come over the radio and tell you to take your Potassium Iodide, it is too late to order it!
